Kyo-butsugu/Buddhist Objects: Keisuke Seki (Seki Butsudan Seisakujo)
I incorporate the art of maki-e decoration into not only Buddhist altars, but also restoration work like kintsugi, as well as items that are not lacquerwork (such as fountain pens, drinking glasses, and jewels). With this, I strive to use innovative designs and produce items that match modern lifestyles.
